In 1978, Jimmy Carter, President of the United States, met with Menachem Begin, Prime Minister of Israel, and Anwar al-Sadat, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at Camp David, where they fashioned a framework for peace in the Middle East. In response to the Peace Accord of 1979, Gross designed the wool wall hanging, Eternal Peace, intertwining English, Hebrew and Arabic with a symbolic dove of peace. Made in the USA.
