Renowned Israeli artist Zelig Segal, whose work is in the permanent collection of The Jewish Museum and The Israel Museum, created this contemporary masterpiece menorah entitled Frozen Movement. Its textured, reflective surface creates the feeling of movement in a stationary object.  Each piece is handsigned and made in Israel. 
 
Segal, born and raised in Jerusalem, is a master sculptor, draftsman and designer.  Raised in a religious household, Segal continues to design ritual objects infused with Jewish sentiment through an innovative mode that breaks from the familiar language of Judaica. 
 
This meneroah is included in Design Edition JM: a curated selection of modern and contemporary Jewish ritual objects by extraordinary designers commissioned and collected by The Jewish Museum.
