The Yiddish Theater...What an age!  What memories.  This was the "Broadway" of the turn of the century, bringing joy, tears and laughter to the struggling Jewish immigrants of New York's Lower East Side.  It was the birth of Jewish American culture, and this vibrant and colorful world all started on Second Avenue.

 

The Golden Age of 2nd Avenue was first airted on Public Television, this Special 40th Anniversary Edition is on DVD for the first time!
