Pulitzer Prize winner Art Spiegelman is best known for his creation of MAUS, which in the form of comics retraces his parents' story as they survived the Holocaust. It has attracted an unprecedented amount of critical attention for a work of this content in the form of comics, was translated into 18 languages and honoured by the Museum of Modern Art in New York with a specially staged exhibition.
He also worked for The New Yorker for ten years with his wife Fran├žoise Mouly, Art Director of The New Yorker.
In 2005, Time Magazine named Spiegelman one of their " Top 100 Most Influential People  of the Century ".
The basis of this documentary is the story and the life of this artist, his art work illustrates his narration.
