Cast in bronze and crafted in Rhode Island is this menorah by Forgotten Judaica, whose work is inspired by the narratives of eastern European Judaica. Abraham's Tree Menorah pays homage to Yiddish-themed wood-cuts that recorded Jewish rituals, such as the Shabbat dinner, Passover seder, or Hanukkah celebration. The crisp detail of the tree's bark and the fallen leaves at its base reminds one of winter approaching and the season for the Festival of Lights - Hanukkah. Additionally, the tree symbolzies wisdom and knowledge. Designer Lisa Van Allsburg of Forgotten Judaica named the menorah after her father Abraham, who shared his love of nature, knowledge, and heritage with his children.
