This menorah comes from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. It is a wonderful work of art to display year round, not just during Hanukkah.
It was inspired by a bronze menorah from the 6th century CE, found in the synagogue of Ein Gedi. The branches of the menorah were made of small bronze spheres imitating "calyxes and petals" of the Temple menorah. Along with a few other menorahs found in ancient synagogues inside and outside of Israel, it indicates that there were menorahs made to resemble the Temple menorah, despite the sages' prohibition against it.
