Overview

Adapted from Richard Meier's Hanukkah Lamp, 1985

Award-winning architect Richard Meier writes of his Hanukkah Lamp design: “…I was trying to express the collective memory of the Jewish people. Each candleholder of the lamp is an abstracted representation of an architectural style from significant moments of persecution in the history of Jews.” The TOLEDO mezuzah, adapted from the fifth tower, represents the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492. Made in the USA. Scroll sold separately.
