A adaptation of a kiddush cup from the early 20th-century from Frankfurt, Germany. The original cup, a masterpiece of the silversmith's art, is in the Museum's permanent collection. The petal-like repousseé on the lower portion of the cup is repeated on the foot and the slender stem is delicately wrought with stylized leaves. The kiddush cup has been reproduced in sterling silver with gilt on a slightly reduced scale for modern use. Made in the USA.
